ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

DURATION: 3 years, extendable

CONTRACT PREFERENCE: W2 (or) 1099 (or) Corp-Corp

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have minimum five (5) years of experience in the following;
a. Three (3) years in a lead capacity;
b. Administrating Oracle 11g or higher PROD environments;
c. Working with electronic data processing systems study,
design, and programming, which will be verified
2. The Programmer(s) classification requires the possession of a
Bachelor s Degree in an IT related or engineering field from an
accredited college or university and it will be verified during the
RFO process.
3. Each proposed consultant must have a minimum of five (5) years
of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and
programming. At least three (3) years of that experience must have
been in a lead capacity.
4. Must have a minimum of five (5) years'' experience in
successfully Administrating Oracle 11g or higher Productions (PROD)
environments, Oracle Golden Gate Server databases, Oracle and SQL
Server databases, In electronic data processing systems study, design,
and programming
5. Three (3) customer references for the proposed personnel
verifying engagements

1. valid Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Certification

JOB RESPOSIBILITIES

Development, management and organizational technical support for all
CCHCS Oracle Server database environments (DEV, QA, STAGE, PROD
Assist in any disaster recovery operations. Work with applications,
technical support and operations teams during the design, development
and implementation of service requests. Assist in the development,
management, and organization of databases. Assist with the
enhancement of PROD applications and services. Assist in other Oracle
database related duties as directed by CCHCS management. Troubleshoot
Oracle database server outages as they occur, including after-hours
and weekends. Install and configure new Oracle Servers environments as
requests are received. Deploy database change scripts as requests
following CCHCS Change Management procedures. When performance issues
arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance
including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or
index/query changes. Comply with CCHCS s policies, standards, and best
practices and assist in enforcement by notifying the CCHCS Delivery
Manager of deviations. Communicate with internal teams on operational
support issues by attending meetings, providing input and
recommendations, analysis and findings. Participate in change weekly
CCHCS control board (CCB), Project Status and other pertinent
meetings. Contractor shall perform administrative tasks as requested
and approved by the CCHCS Delivery Manager or designee.
Administrative tasks shall be defined in a Deliverable Expectations
Document (DED) that includes estimated hours and costs, and is
mutually agreeable to both parties. Contractor shall provide weekly
status reports using CCHCS template to include hours for each task
performed for Oracle Server services.
