Requirement:
Position Title: SAP Data Migration
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Minneapolis,MN
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience implementing SAP projects
Demonstrated Data Team leadership capabilities, preferably at least two (2) full life-cycle
Implementations in data migration role
Experience working with WinShuttle platform as well as other SAP Data Migration tools (eg; LSMW)
Strong SAP functional skills on MM, SD, PM, CS, EAM and IM area
Excellent Excel & SQL capabilities and skills
Knowledge and experience of database schemas, queries and reporting
Strong understanding of SAP master data and management concepts
Understand the importance of master and configuration data setup in SAP with it’s effect on functional process
Drive data migration strategy and plan (including cleansing, transformation, testing and validation)
Manage and participate in data migration planning activities, through successful data migration and validation for go-live
Apply functional experience with SAP into SAP functional object conversions
Draft data conversion requirements, specifications, and mappings
Draft data quality requirement and review the data validation metrics
Understand and Translate system and process requirements into SAP data setup requirements
Interface with other functional consultants and business to put together data requirements based on functional solution, facilitate the templates and meetings to put gather missing data
Interface with project work-streams to obtain and provide data migration related requirements
Monitor data reports for cleansing and liaison with Business to correct data
Build and maintain strong relationships with client leads and application owners in the business
Manage and participate in data migration planning activities, through successful data migration and validation for go-live
Allocate and manage overall work-effort for respective team, completing tasks on time
Analyze data issues by interpreting the functional/system process anomalies
Work with Conversion lead in planning / executing / monitoring and control
Report to Data Migration Lead including responding in timely manner to all project and/or administrative requests
