Position: Senior SQL Server Database Developer/Architect

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education: A Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
General Experience: Must have six (6) years of experience in DBMS systems analysis and programming.
Specialized Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in using current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various database management systems and experience with DBMS internals.
Experience in relational database design, development, column level encryption, extract transform and load (ETL), and administration for business critical applications using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or newer.
Experience providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS.
Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements. Must be able to define datatypes, optimal normalization, referential integrity, triggers, partitioning design, indexing methods, and data security procedures for specific user applications.
Develop, implement, and maintain database back-up and recovery procedures for the processing environments, and ensure that data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications.
A Bachelor''s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher to support low-code/no-code development tools, supporting development with Bizagi Modeler, Bizagi Studio and Bizagi Engine.
Experience in a Data Architect role leading:
o the design, developing and documenting conceptual, logical and physical models for multiple data sources
o determining optimal levels for referential integrity and normalization, applying data encryption methods to protect at rest and in flight
o working with Software Application Architects to design database structures that model related business processes and flows
o delivering data driven solutions using Business Intelligence (BI), Master Data Management, Reporting & Analytics technologies
Four (4) years using agile or other iterative methodologies to develop and deliver database development projects
Knowledge and understanding of Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) protocols desirable.
