The Senior Business Analyst II is responsible for day-to-day coordination and end users' interactions on systems developed within Research Information Systems Division.
The Senior Business Analyst II will assess end user's needs, document requirements using technical and functional specifications, and lead the design, development, implementation, evaluation, testing, and maintenance of systems to ensure end users' needs are duly incorporated. The Senior Business Analyst II will perform and/or coordinate the system testing, document project status, identify and track issues, interface with developers to clarify requirements, and oversee adherence of department policies in the development and release of applications. Through ongoing educational and informal relationships,
the Senior Business Analyst II will stay current in project management practice and will incorporate this knowledge into future system planning and deployment. The Senior Business Analyst II will perform software integration testing and coordinate user acceptance testing, develop database views and queries to facilitate the extraction of data for quality assurance and report development, record systems project progress and milestone accomplishments, and assist in preparing management briefings on project status, ensure customer support through system training, help desk and authoring of on-line help, and document systems functions and business process flows.Minimum
Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Heath Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Minimum Experience:Seven (7) years experience in business analysis, which includes system requirements, systems training, application support and/or development, business process design or technical documentation is required.Experience involving clinical and basic science activities in a research hospital preferred
