Job Details: A Pre-Sales Technical support engineer will be responsible for technical enablement, conducting Product, Solution demonstrations, Proof of Concepts for customers, and providing technical help for design & implementation to field engineers
Qualification
Mandatory:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in any stream
Preferred:
- Cisco certifications – CCNP/CCDP, CCIE
- PG degree / diploma in Marketing

Experience Required –
- 6-9 Years of experience in Technical support, Pre-sales training, etc. for Cisco networking & security products
- Candidates with experience in Cisco Wireless technology solutions and product sales/presales experience will be preferred.

Responsibility / Accountability –
Conduct compelling demonstrations, Proof of concepts, of Cisco Networking solution to architectural, administrative and executive audiences at customer locations, onsite or through webcasts, marketing events and trade shows.
Provide Plan & Designing, recommendations to partners & customers for building Cisco networking solutions using cisco technologies & products such as Cisco ISE, Wireless, switches, routing, LAN/WAN, Cisco Prime, Cisco Stealthwatch, etc.
Providing remote/onsite support to customers and partners for installation, configuration & implementation of Cisco products mentioned above
Work with customer to understand its network environment and to qualify Customer application requirements for POCs/ PoVs
Create best practice documentation for the design, installation, configuration and deployment of the above solutions
Provide operational support for complex, network deployments.
Assist in the creation of high-level and low-level network design activities
Assist in the development of network implementation planning
Build & deliver Product & solution trainings, bootcamps, & enablement session to Sales team and channel partners.
Participate in creating customer references, case studies and thought leadership pieces used for global marketing.
Maintain an awareness of competitive offerings and strategies across the territory.
Martian and present KPI and statistical data for sales performance and revenue as and when required

Knowledge / Skill and Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN & WLAN technologies, products & solutions
Working knowledge of Cisco Security. Specifically knowledge of ISE, TrustSec, 802.1X, Stealthwatch, and Active Directory or LDAP is required
Good knowledge & experience of working with Cisco Routing & Switching platforms
Knowledge and experience of working on NMS applications like Cisco Prime Infrastructure
Well versed with concepts of netflow, AVC, SNMP and other NMS/EMS technologies
High level understanding of datacenter networking concepts and familiarization with Cisco Nexus product family
Basic understanding of Software defined architecture desired but not mandatory
Experience with managing or conducting field trials or POC (proof of concept / demo) preferred but not mandatory
The ability to understand technical issues and apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity. .
An independent, proactive individual who works well with minimum supervision.
High degree of initiative, dependability and the ability to work with little supervision.
Exceptional written and communication skills are a must.
Good Presentation & training skills with ability to engage the audience and build selling story around infrastructure products & software.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
