Title: SCCM Engineer
Location: Creve Coeur, MO
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Description:
Work closely with architecture and other IT areas on selection, design, and implementation of comprehensive technology solutions. Gather requirements for design, analysis, testing, documentation, development and implementation of new technologies. Create technical documentation including roadmaps, presentations, and cost models. Market and sell decisions with senior management and other stakeholders. Work as individual contributor as well as team member in matrixed environment. Provide 3rd tier problem escalation support and troubleshooting. Act as project leader for varying budgets and duration. Execute proof of concepts in lab and data center environments. (Usually requires 5+ years’ experience
Candidates should have senior level knowledge of SCCM Administration.
Primary job functions include:
Deploy SCCM globally Provide service readiness transition documentation to service desk, software release managers, asset managers, etc.
Desired skillsets:
SCCM 2012+, PowerShell, WSUS, WDS, OSD, SCCM Reporting, and Basic SQL server administration
About this role
- This role is an addition to the team for assistance with a world-wide deployment that is replacing Altiris with SCCM. This is a very big initiative.
