Title: Service Provider Network Architect/Engineer

Rate: $100/w2
Position Description:
Highly competent resource responsible for overseeing service provider network architecture and engineering, in charge of business-critical systems, maintenance, operations, infrastructure architecture and engineering. Will handle network routers, switches, and related equipment for multi-tenant MPLS Wide Area Network implementations and is either in charge of installation or supports a team and/or contractors with deployments, and troubleshooting. Will provide technical support to the network operation of large converged (data, voice, video) communications networks, analyze and resolve network problems, monitor network operations'' efficiency, and write network architecture, engineering, and procedural documentation.
Skills Required:
Required skills are a MUST: • ASR 9K (IOS-XR) experience, all aspects of Service Provider technologies • IOS, NAT, OSPF, BGP, Asymmetrical Routing, ACLs, VLAN, vPC, Fabric Extenders (FEXs), STP, MP-BGP, L3VPNs, LPVPN, QinQ, Route filtering, Route reflectors • Routing and Switching experience • SIP Trucking
Experience Required:
10+ years’ experience
Education and Certifications:
CCNP-Routing and Switching or CCIE- Routing and Switching - REQUIRED • Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred:
CCNP-Service Provider or CCIE-Service Provider
Additional Information
Serious, Experienced, Senior level candidates only. Assignment duration is directed by business needed - expected duration 6 months to 1 year Travel may be required in state (NJ), no overnight. All travel expenses have been calculated into rate, no travel expenses (mileage, tolls, parking, etc will be reimbursed Work hours over 40hrs (per week) will be occasional for incident response and change management.
