Job Description:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering. Advanced degree preferred
Strong programming skills in R, Scala and/or Python, machine learning/deep learning for developing predictive analytic systems.
Experience working with machine learning libraries like Python Sci kit, Theano, Tensor Flow and Keras.
Basic Qualifications: We are interested in applicants who possess skills in probability and statistics, differential equations, time series analysis, Monte Carlo methods, data mining, machine learning, regression and other numerical techniques.
Data scientist needs to be able to program, preferably in different programming languages such as Python, R, Java, SQL and open to learn and work in any cutting edge technologies.
Should have worked on large data set.
Experience working on Text Data, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Expert knowledge in Microservices
Able to collaborate on long term architectural vision, and articulate and evangelize that vision in and out of the company
Responsibilities
Act as a mentor, leader, and manager for the software engineers on their team, working to turn software engineers into tech leads and tech leads into architects.
Builds a tight relationship with Product Manager while acting as the technical owner of platform
Ownership of setting up frameworks to codify best practices, reducing lines of code through re use, and ensuring team members adhere to those best practices during the design and development phases.
