Role : SQL Developer
Location:- Grand Rapids, MI
Duration:- 6 months+ (extendable)
Visa : Only GC or USC.
we are currently looking for a SQL Developer with strong t-sql, reporting services, performance tuning, cursor, SQL scripting and coding. SSIS and SSAS will be a plus. It's a direct client requirement and we are looking for someone with strong 9 - 10yrs of work experience. Interview will be held immediately.
Required : Passport Number, work authorization and any photo ID Proof.
Job Responsibilities:
· Complete SSRS Report writing, which includes an understanding of the underlying data, data structure and business terminology.
· Migrate reports from the old system to the new by utilizing the existing report layout and making changes to the backend call.
· Optimize the reports and underlying stored procedures that take longer to run.
· Troubleshooting data issues, validating result sets, performing unit testing.
· Developing and maintaining stored procedures for use in reports.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server environment with SSRS and Stored Procedure development.
· Very Strong skills in T-SQL development, including query optimization, building and modifying stored procedures, functions, and creating tables and views.
· Strong experience in providing ownership, management, design, development and support to BI strategies.
· Ability to navigate and understand large complex database structures for sourcing data.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and complex business concepts in technical terms.
· Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
· Experience working with large data sets.
· Use of version control software, such as Microsoft TFS.
