Job Description :
Own the Digital Intelligence and Digital Marketing & Advertising Technology Tool Stack (Adobe Analytics, Web Trends, Tealeaf, Tag Management, etc
Implement and support clickstream and other marketing and advertising tools, including (but not limited to) Adobe Analytics, Observe Point, DoubleClick for Advertisers, Adobe Audience Manager (Data Management Platform), Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM) and Tracking First.
Implement integrations between analytics and other 3rd party tools. Ex – integration between Exact Target or DoubleClick and Adobe Analytics.
Act as the technical translator for the business. Work closely with the analysts to translate business requirements into technical requirements and with SI to convert requirements into working code.
Support the SI teams as they implement the click stream, marketing and advertising tool stack on their individual websites. Provide “steady state” implementation technical support as needed.
Demonstrate an understanding of the technology underlying digital marketing tools in order to direct and assist development resources – work closely with IT to correctly implement the JS and Mobi SDK code to measure digital properties.
Works with FSA’s, Architecture, ITSO and Info Sec to identify, manage and mitigate technical risks.
Develop and document standard operational processes and procedures for internal team use and write detailed technical analysis documentation (tech specs) for the development of tools and integrations for external use by IT.
Act as technical liaison between the vendor and SI.
Ensure and enforce that the technical best practices are followed as laid down by IT. Work with IT to effectively socialize and enforce the standards & governance & to maintain integrity of data. Build for Measurement – work closely with IT to develop common standards and protocols for implementation across the enterprise.
Stay closely connected to IT (attend appropriate forums, workshops, training, Tech Talks etc and upgrade to new technologies as needed and as suggested by the CTO – example, NGA build pipeline.
Additional Responsibilities as required –
When required, customizes and configures Adobe Analytics per user requirements through report suite set up, variable allocation, classification file upload and Processing Rule development. Passed Adobe’s Processing Rule (PR) Certification Exam which is required for PR development.
Configures and maintains a Tag Management System (TMS) – Adobe Dynamic Tag Management (DTM
Test integration between analytics and other integrations. Examples – Adobe Analytics with Exact Target for email and DoubleClick for Advertising.
Provide technical implementation and subject matter expertize for vendor project evaluations for 3rd party or new marketing / advertising / clickstream tools. Provide strategy, implementation and support of “new” digital marketing and advertising technologies as procured by the organization.
Partner with SI and architecture and provide subject matter expertise and architectural support on “pilot opportunities / experiments” for newer technologies.
Train, nurture and support the internal IT community as they build out their analytics and marketing capabilities.
Primary qualifications & skills –
Accomplished UI professional experience with expert-level knowledge of Vanguard UI development tools and processes and of the following technologies like – Java, JavaScript, JSON, JSF, CSS, HTML and AJAX preferred.
Working knowledge of NGA tools like Maven, SVN, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus etc.
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools like Tealeaf and Adobe Analytics / Google Analytics etc.
Vanguard SDLC knowledge is a must
Must have worked in an Agile environment and should be familiar with project management / agile / Kanban tools like Agility or Jira & Confluence.
Additional qualifications & skills –
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or MIS or Engineering required
Strong project management and organization skills
Experience with Vanguard Mobil App (iPhone / Android
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of –
o Must have working knowledge of marketing technologies (such as Adobe Analytics, DTM, Tealeaf, Medallia, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc
o Enthusiasm to understand and apply emerging architecture and technology concepts to the Marketing space
