Description
Design, develop, and implement software solutions to complex business problems
Provide technical leadership and architectural blueprints
Lead with hands-on development efforts across multiple platforms and languages
Design fault-tolerant, scalable, and decoupled software solutions
Prepare solution models to ensure privacy and security requirements are met
Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and designs to ensure a high quality product platform
Identify and interact with business stakeholders to ensure needs are met
Champion proof-of-concept engagements with tangible software deliverables
Remain current in open-source development technologies and trends
Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
Create architecture, design and product release deliverables that are consistent with established SDLC standards and best practices
Design for key functional and non-functional requirements and features within the platform to ensure high scalability, availability, and performance of the platform
Work with the team to resolve technical problems
Participate in and drive code reviews, architecture reviews, and deployment walk-throughs with other engineers
Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on technical design and development experience
2+ years of team leadership experience working with cross-functional teams
Expert level in C# .Net technologies and frameworks
Expert level in performance optimization strategies for Front End as well as Back End components/services
Strong OO design with emphasis on design patterns including MVC (Spring, ASP.NET MVC 4/5,.Net Core)
Expert at Object Oriented Analysis (OOA), Object Oriented Design (OOD), Object Oriented Programming (OOP), workflow, transaction lifecycles, component models, and software design patterns
Strong experience in Web Services creation/integration (REST, WSDL-SOAP, etc
XML, JSON, and Ajax processing experience
Good working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres)
Good working knowledge of NoSQL databases (CouchBase, MongoDB, Hadoop)
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Experience with a version control system – (Subversion/Git, TFS)
Experience with Agile development/delivery
The ability to simplify complicated issues, establish a vision, and work with others to make that vision a reality
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget
Work with the development team to architect and design solutions to meet business requirements
Assist in research and selection of tools, products, and frameworks
Develop unit testing framework
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
