Description:
Senior Staff Engineer/Site Reliability Engineering – Cloud
· Exp with developing, building and operating sophisticated and highly automated Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Openstack, VMWare, or Rackspace) a must.
&n bsp; Expert in troubleshoot ing Live Site issues across the applications
Deep hands-on technical expertise in large scale systems engineering & complex distributed systems architectures.
Expertise in web services, virtualization, cloud concepts, REST, JSON, XML, MySQL, PHP, LDAP, & object oriented methodologies is desired
Prior success in automating a real-world production environment a must.
Proven experience in delivering industry-leading technical solutions with the highest quality.
3+ years of experience in large scale internet service design & implementation.
Experience managing/Troubleshooting Dynamics environments is desired.
3 + years of experience with continuous delivery with continuous integration (CI/CD) and automation tools such as GIT/SVN, Jenkins,
Chef, Ansible and configuration management.
Demonstrated understanding of instrumentation, monitoring, and deployment des ign principles & best practices.
Strong analytical capabilities.
3+ year development experience with Linux Container (LXC, Docker or CoreOS Rocket), Virtualization technologies (KVM, XEN) on Linux (Ubuntu or Redhat preferably)
2+ year hands on experience to build and develop Microservices based and IaaS infrastructure with prior experience in Docker Swarm, Kuberentes or CoreOS Tectonic plus.
Hands on development experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) development or devOps including Openstack Neutron and OpenvSwitch, Openflow, networ king virtualization, GRE tunneling, and KVM networking, and Qumu.
Good understanding of network routing, load balancing, & Internet transport protocols and Familiar with the areas in networking, storage, server, virtualization technology.
Strong programming/script skill in Python, Perl, Ruby, bash shell, JavaScript etc.
Active open source contributor a plus
Good communication and documentation skills, good team working and problem solving skills, demonstrated ability to be mentor in training people.
Education: MS in Computer Science/EE.
