Job Description
As a member of our testing group, you will be performing testing activities comprised of Functional, System, Validation, Regression, and Performance test functions.
You will develop test cases from customer Business Requirements and User Stories, present your testing approach and test cases to the Customer, perform the assigned tests, and assist in the preparation of Test Summary Reports.
This is a customer-facing role, requiring excellent English communication skills, both written and oral; strong technical testing and analysis skills; attention to detail; and, commitment to quality service and continuous process improvement.
The incumbent is expected to perform specialized testing of MicroStrategy and Section 508 compliance.
Responsibilities
Define functional test cases from business requirements and user stories with specific, but not exclusive focus on S508 usability.
Document and deliver test cases for peer review and customer approval.
Perform functional, regression, and specific S508 compliance testing of target software, providing detailed evidence of deficiencies.
Summarize test results for presentation in a Production Readiness Review and release documentation.
Requirements
Strong experience with Section 508 guidelines, associated tools, and appropriate testing techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in American-standard English.
Windows 7.x and Windows 10 desktop experience. (3+ years) including Microsoft Office Suite (2013
Solid working knowledge and understanding of Internet-based applications, architecture, and operation within cloud-based and hosted environments. (3+ years)
Experience with HP ALM; experience with common S508 evaluation tools
Preferred
Experience with Test Automation using HP ALM and TIBCO Classic.
Working knowledge of TIBCO Classic, WebSphere, SharePoint File Transfer, and/or EDI.
Basic networking, Client-Server, and web-based application knowledge, EDI and Portal applications.
Familiarity with X.12, and EDI highly desired.
Strong desire to learn, recommend and implement improvements, and deliver the best possible customer experience to the end-user.
