Required Skills:
At least 72+ months of technical experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1 or higher modules.
At least 72+ months of technical experience in PeopleSoft billing, Accounts Receivables, Payables and General Ledger business processes technical development and testing.
At least 72+ months of professional experience in producing PeopleSoft Financial Management system technical specifications, test scenarios, scripts, data and reviewing test results.
At least 72+ months of experience in documenting, communication, and validating business requirements throughout the Financial Management system’s development lifecycle.
At least 72+ months of technical experience with SQR, Application engine, nVision, and Peoplecode development
At least 36 months of experience in programming using crystal reports.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields.
Description:
State of New York - NYS Workers Compensation Board
Project: The Financial Management Information System or FMIS is a modified version of delivered PeopleSoft software. This software supports the Board’s financial management and recording needs. At present AP, AR and GL modules of FSCM are being maintained. Along with them two critical custom components are the payment of claims and assessment of Carriers. Board has decided to modernize the finance system and decided to migrate the finance functionality to Statewide Financial System (SFS This resource will be supporting the migration effort, supporting the current system and the other board initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Code PeopleSoft financials modifications using the PeopleSoft development tools.
Provide production support including issue resolution in a timely manner.
Communicate with users to gather requirements for projects and enhancements to the production system.
Perform technical analysis and estimates for enhancement requests.
Perform tuning for slow running processes.
Monitor batch processes and resolve the issues.
Provide weekly Status reports.
Perform the PeopleSoft code reviews as per the WCB coding standards.
Modifications to PeopleSoft interfaces with the existing WCB systems.
