Senior Network Designer Job Details:
Augment existing resources, to deliver; inflight and net new projects (implementation, configuration, architecture compliancy evaluation, documentation, etc
Develop the end to end network design starting from defining technical requirements, selection of network technologies and products, development of high level architecture, detailed design and site designs, including commissioning procedures, and finally as-built engineering drawings and documentation
Senior Network Designer Mandatory Skills:
7 to 10 years of extensive experience in the design of local and wide area networks. Complexity of projects ranges from simple projects with minimal risks/ uncertainty to medium level projects with some high impact risks and multiple project variables with uncertainty.
Strong experience with enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless and Internet service implementations
Excellent understanding of IP, MPLS, WAN, Ethernet, Wireless networking technologies.
Deliver network architecture / design / solutions for:
Remote field locations or mobile locations such as Locomotives, radio base station, wayside assets and train yards
Data Centers
Cross functional knowledge of how LAN, WAN, and Internet services interact/relate to VoIP, and Voice Networks infrastructure
