Position Description

eDataForce Consulting LLC has a need for a Business Analyst-Property & Causality (Guidewire) resource. Following are the required skill sets for this position. ?

Job Title: Business Analyst-Property & Causality
Location: Tampa, FL
Duration: 9+ months
Max Rate: US$ 42/hr.

Job Description:
Familiarity with basic project management methodology and ability to utilize project management skills when needed.
Must be capable of breaking problems into component parts and addressing individual issues in order to develop an appropriate and thorough solution.
Interviewing skills as related to requirements elicitation and data gathering.
Self-motivated, deadline-driven, ability to support multiple projects with competing priority.
Attention to detail with the ability to understand how a process fits into the overall business model.
Conduct research and analysis with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence others and negotiate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Solid interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict-management skills
Demonstrates leadership skills.
Required skills:
Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience.
Minimum 4 years of Property & Casualty experience.
Minimum 2 years of Guidewire
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Experience with help desk analyzing requested tickets, determining priority, along with what category (training, break fix or change request)
Experience with user acceptance testing and documentation of findings
Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel

Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Visio diagramming software.
Multi-tasking ability in a dynamic business environment.
Ability to negotiate across all levels of the organization.
Strong attention to detail and ability to validate accuracy.
Experience with SQL is beneficial.
Insurance Industry Background.

Excellent Communication is a MUST
