Job Description / Responsibility:
Should have around 10+ years of Unix Experience with 5+ years of demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining HP -Unix (V11.x), will be responsible for: -
Installing, configuring and maintaining HP servers.
Installation and configuration of High Availability environment using MC \Service Guard & SGeSAP integrations with latest MCSG & SGeSAP versions
Configuration and administration of HP Logical volume manager.
Installation and Configuration of ignite backup. Create and Verify Golden images.
Patch and Package administration.
Printer Administration.
writing shell scripts for day to day system administration task
Configuring and supporting HP Integrity & C7000 Enclosures.
Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue.
Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance.
Configuring Unix Security baseline.
Experience in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning.
Installation & Configuration of Integrity Virtual Machine
Installation & Configuration of Vpar
Installation & Configuration of Npar
Additional skills:

CIFS
DNS
NIS
Sendmail
NFS
Samba
LDAP
HP Glance
Monitoring Tools (like BMC Patrol, HP openview, IBM Tivoli)
