Must be strong in HP-UX configuration and implementation (including cluster builds and firmware upgrades
Must be an expert in HP-UX service guard:
Supports operational activities such as level three system support, root cause analysis, systems validation, performance tuning and capacity management. Works with Operations staff to improve monitoring and alerting activities.
Represents IT Engineering Services on global project teams through the implementation of new infrastructure systems, including, project planning and adherence to Company’s global project methodologies. Provides status reports and attends team meetings
Applying best practices for performance tuning of servers
Upgrades system software and hardware components as required to meet customer needs.
Maintaining system configuration documentation, including SOPs and IQ/OQ, software installation instructions, operating system installation and system configuration sheets.
Comply with SOX and IT Compliance protocols.
Qualifications Required experience:
7-10 years of experience in HP-UX Unix administration at small and medium scale environments.
Troubleshooting database, application and services on HP-UX.
Extensive HP-UX networking knowledge including but not limited to VLANs, bonding, link aggregation.
Install, configure, patch and automate HP-UX server builds using Ignite.
3-5 years of experience in IBM AIX Unix administration at small and medium scale environments.
System migrations (P2V Migrations) in the IBM AIX and HP-UX environments
Expert in installation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AIX and HP-UX servers.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience with Redhat, SuSe a plus
IBM AIX and PowerVM a plus
Single-Sign-on implementation experience (Centrify)
