Database Security Engineer
Job Location: Sunnyvale CA, 94085
Duration: 6 months
PRIMARY SKILL: DATABASE SECURITY
The candidate must be able to work independent and under strict timelines. This person should have strong written, verbal communication skills and possess project management skills.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Support current security and compliance activities for Data Security initiatives within IS&T.
Interact with members of the DBA team to ensure Security standards are adequately implemented across the databases.
Develop and Maintain scripts to collect and analyze database security monitoring.
Must be aware of SDLC and D2P procedures to implement developed changes into Production.
Design solutions to improve Security Automation tasks and develop tools for DBAs.
Must have experience in developing tools using Perl, Python, Shell and SQL scripting.
Extensive knowledge of Role and Privilege management in Oracle/NoSQL.
Experience working on Security/Compliance projects and research into newer solutions.
Develop API to Central Station to automate bug filing, task assignments and incident
