Sitecore 8.0 current with some 6.6 sites that they need to migrate
Developer who has done custom components = must have
Coveo is desired – search engine partner to Sitecore (not a hard requirement)
Team = 1PM and 1 Sr Developer. This is a critical need and they don’t have time to train this consultant
2 years of Sitecore Development experience required
Sitecore certifications are a big plus
Will consider skype/hire for non-local contractors
4 day work week Monday-Thursday
Application Developer Job Summary:
The Sitecore CMS Developer is responsible for the development and deployment of Sitecore Components within the Sitecore CMS. It would be beneficial for this consultant to be Sitecore certified and they must understand the details of developing with the Sitecore framework. The Developer will actively participate in systems architecture to create new solutions based on current technology being used.
Application Developer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent.
1 to 5 years of experience.
General experience with programming languages including HTML5, C#, JavaScript.
Some knowledge of general software engineering practices and basic understanding of databases (specifically SQL Server
Understanding of Lean Software development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team.
Web Development/CMS experience.
Coveo Search platform for Sitecore
Certified in SQL, Oracle, Sitecore and Microsoft a plus.
Application Developer Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand the user requirements and translating these requirements to ABL business systems that will meet the goals of the company.
Actively participate in systems architecture to create a new solution based on current technology being used.
Develops the code to create software applications
Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development
Participates in all planning and designing phases of projects
