Job Description :
Primary requirement is that candidate should have hands on experience working in Linux environment including IP changes and hardware break-fix.
He should have a car to go to Co-locations data centers
Need good UNIX L3 candidate with following skill set.
L2 Linux SA with hands on experience supporting servers in datacenter.
Good Linux /Solaris Troubleshooting skills including boot processes, patching, server build, hardware break-fix.
NIC bonding in Linux, troubleshoot network issues.
User managements, reset lost root userid passwords, kernel patching and how to back out/etc/services, /etc/system, nsswitch.conf, resolv.conf – purpose and use of this files.
Good Veritas Volume Manager knowledge, scan newly added SAN disks in OS / Veritas, expand the file system.
Good Veritas Cluster Services, understand split-brain / jeopardy cluster status, heartbeats config, GAB/LLT/HAD relationship.
Good Veritas Volume Manager, scan newly added SAN disks in OS / Veritas, expand the file system.

AIX knowledge is plus.
