Job Description:
Responsibilities:
· Architect enterprise grade solution offering auto-scalable resilient systems
· Provide guidance on architecting workload patterns using docker containers, Mesos, Micro services, cloud native technologies etc
· Provide technical leadership on public cloud offerings (Azure & AWS)
· Provide technical leadership on DevOps, Automation, Microservices, Application Development, Containers and deployment
· Provide vision, strategy, technology and roadmaps to adopt cloud capabilities
· Define strategy to implement self-service model to allow internal teams to migrate / develop application on cloud
· Maintain deep hands on technical knowledge of AWS / Azure services
· Define and create container oriented application architecture models on on-premise and cloud platforms.
· Drive onsite and offshore team to meet the delivery needs for Cloud Operations CoE
Skills:
· 15 + years of overall IT experience
· 5+ years of experience in architecting and designing enterprise grade IaaS and PaaS solution on public cloud platform
· Broad deep understanding of various features and services offered by various public cloud platforms
· Ability to provide high level solutions to the business problems
· Experience in customer facing roles reviewing the architecture, working with technical teams and developers
· Proven experience with Containerization / Cluster Management: Docker containers, Repositories, DockerFile scripting, Cluster Management using Docker Swarm, Kubernetes or Apache Mesos
· Experience in automation and provisioning of cloud environments using API’s, CLI and scripts.
· Proven experience with DevOps practices and technologies in a software-defined infrastructure environment, delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
· Experience in architecting distributed systems, designing secure scalable and elastic architectures
· Experience in customer facing roles reviewing the architecture, working with technical teams and developers
· Experience in software development experience using various languages Java/J2EE, using frameworks Sprint/Java, Noded.JS messaging
· Database experience using various RDBMS/NoSQL
· Experience with Cloud Native (micro services, containers/Dockers, Agile) and DevOps (CI/CD)
· Understanding of Cloud design principles
· Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc with technical and non-technical staff.
· Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
