Highly technical individual with 10+ years of vast IT experience
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
Ability to code and script
Experience with systems and IT operations
Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing, release and deployment
Out of the box thinker with strong urge to provide feedback and make improvements as and when necessary
Innovative and creative problem solving skills
Strong grasp of automation tools
Should be able to engineer a solution for any given problem
Plays a role of an SME
Data management skills
A strong focus on business outcomes
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional areas
Support multiple environments to ensure stability
Triage issues and provide short-term and long term solutions
Speak through the solution with Client and provide insights in to entire chain of events and plan for resolution
Perform root cause analysis and work hands on to guide through the problem and incident management process
Co-ordinate with offshore and other global teams.
Support application Releases and change management functions
Provide support for monitoring of applications logs, feeds, issue tickets
Excellent leadership skills
Technical Skills
Hands-on exp with Unix and WIN platforms
Unix debugging, Shell Scripting
SQL, Java/Jquery
Oracle 9/10/11G database support
Monitoring/Ticketing tools - ITRS, RTView, ServiceNow, JIRA, Autosys
Deployment tools – RLM, uDeploy
Knowledge of MQ/TIBOC/EMS, Websphere, AbInitio and Informatica will be a plus
Testing tools – Sellinium, QTP, LoadRunner
Other tools – Teamcity, Buildfordge, Confluence, SharePoint, Jenkins, Mavin, GIT, Hermes
Process and Best Practices
ITIL Process knowledge
Agile training / certification
PMP will be a plus
