Statement of Work
Create business-side software stack that interoperates with the existing interface/physical layers of a biomedical instrumentation platform.
Develop a software application and user interface for instrument command and control
Develop software for aggregation, curation, visualization and storage of instrument’s run-time data
Develop supporting applications to allow operators to create instrument operational recipes
Create a framework for cloud connectivity to a cloud-side host/server
Participate in requirements gathering, software verification and software validation activities
Produce appropriate descriptions for architecture, design, and code documentation
Create and maintain the code repository in bitbucket
Other tasks as required
Skillset:
Expert level developer for C#/.NET framework. Experience with other platforms such as JAVA, C++, C is a plus.
At least 10 years of industrial experience in software development for instrumentation or similar applications.
Strong knowledge of object oriented design practices and patterns
Proven experience in writing bridge/client applications for cloud connectivity, AWS preferred.
Proven experience in database design, optimization and management
Experience working with low-level firmware on embedded devices is desired
Able to operate with minimal supervision under an aggressive schedule
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. Masters preferred.
