What You Will Do:
Conduct Requirement sessions and captures requirements and create User stories, process design, training, and implementation support requirements
Strong analytical and product management skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translating those into technology and operational requirements
Provide team leadership and or support for customer/solution engagements and lead efforts to define design blueprints.
Facilitate requirements elaboration workshops to gain understanding of current state processes and technology, and from that map out a future state that includes improved process definition as well as best-practice architecture and implementation of required existing product integration or new technology solution.
Analyze the prioritized user stories and provide functional support to the development team.
Must be able to manage and deliver components of customer engagements that include analysis of current state business process and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and architecture
Construct business models and process flows (activity diagrams, context diagrams, sequencing diagrams, etc. Make recommendations on requirements implementation best practices.
Communicate solutions options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. architecture reviews)
Provides ownership for all requirement and solution definition artifacts throughout the project lifecycle
Serve as a BPM and Pega leader/mentor for peers across lines of business on best practices
Leads and reviews system design activities to assure applications solutions will exhibit expected levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
Skills and Experience You Will Need:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a business analyst/ role supporting software/systems engineering and integration
7 - 10 years of experience in the software development field, with PBM experience a strong plus.
5+ years of Pega ecosystem experience is required
5+ years’ experience with Pega Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) process.
Ability to lead DCO sessions for the collection of requirements and development of use cases
Proven ability to lead cross-functional workshops of people, including executive level teams, for process analysis and architecture requirement gathering.
Understanding of the Pega Smart BPM methodology and the Pega Rules process
Experience facilitating discussions for groups of 10 or more individuals from all levels of the organization
Requirements and process modeling experience using UML and BPMN modeling.
Pega RULES Process Commander (PRPC) Version 6.x experience required, with Version 7.1.x experience a strong plus
Experience developing a Requirements Traceability Matrix
Experience with Center of Excellence (CoE) guidelines
Experience with Smart BPM, Agile, and Scrum methodology
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills are required.
Able to concisely communicate complex technical topics to a technical audience
Should have the experience of working on Pega projects end to end
Should be PEGA 7 certified. Certified Lead Business Architect (CLBA)
