Job Description::
Day-to-day: We are looking for a strong Web UI Engineer to help work on our online store. However, this is not your traditional e-commerce site; it is where our products (tablets, phones, watches, laptops, etc are sold to tens of millions of customers each year. The UI code you will create is the foundation of every customer’s shopping experience and is in a system that has been lauded by experts for its elegance, simplicity, and accessibility.
We are looking for a highly talented engineer to help create pixel-perfect, robust, and accessible user interfaces on the web. You will wield the latest frameworks and tools in JavaScript, CSS, and web templates. In this role, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of high-performance web UI systems that are responsible and reusable between desktop and mobile platforms. We are a fast-paced and dynamic group who employ Agile methodologies to deliver projects and prior experience in Agile and test-driven development workflows will be highly regarded.
Must Have:
Strong, hands-on, Vanilla JavaScript development experience (experience with JavaScript patterns, Flux and Redux paradigms)
Strong CSS (including experience with SASS preprocessors) and HTML Web UI development experience
Experienced in various templating languages (i.e. JSX, Mustache, etc
Nice-to-have:
Strong nice-to-have: Experience with JavaScript ES6
Experience with React
