They should be familiar with the algorithms and also have experience on providing the recommendation engine on IP (web & mobile) for music and video.

Must have 5+ years practical experience in architecture and deployment of software components into cloud-based infrastructures, in particular Amazon Web Services.
Must have 5+ years of strong programming language and practical development experience in Java or other object oriented languages required.
Must have 2+ years’ experience architecting, implementing and managing production Server systems and Networks including Big Data and Analytic oriented services (e.g. Lambda architecture, SPARK, Scala, R
Must have 2+ years of experience with Search and Content Recommendation services (e.g. SOLR, Elastic Search, Hadoop
Understanding of Search and Recommendation service features including structuring recommendations and how to tune and optimize them.
Experience with Cloud Management Services, caching, scale-out and use of cloud APIs.
Experience with Social Media API level interactions preferred.
Familiarity with contemporary social media site access and social graph navigation preferred.
Familiarity with API authoring and frameworks tools preferred.
Experience with prototyping scripting languages e.g. Ruby on Rails or Python preferred.
Experience with Big Data message brokers e.g. Kafka and message queuing preferred.
Cassandra, MongoDB and Postgres development a plus.
Experience in developing applications in a mobile environment a plus.
An in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, UDP including multicast, and SNMP protocol a plus.
Previous Broadcast experience considered a plus
