Description:
Responsible for consistent application of all standard project management methodology processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle as aligned to the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK • Understands service offerings so that they can identify and articulate new business opportunities and provide sales support.
Drives all aspects of project management activity, including collaborating and coordinating across the organization and ensuring the following:
1) Changes that affect scope, schedule and resources are identified, managed and controlled with an integrated and cohesive plan.
2) Scope is defined, approved, managed, controlled; ensuring completed deliverables are accepted by the customer.
3) Schedule is developed and managed to on-time delivery.
4) Costs are estimated and managed to deliver project within customer approved budget, while preserving profit margins.
5) Resources are assigned and managed effectively and efficiently.
6) Risks and issues are proactively identified and managed.
7) High quality is planned and delivered on the project, meeting all agreed upon requirements and ensuring high customer satisfaction through the management of the overall customer experience.
8) Communications are planned and conducted during the project to ensure stakeholders are involved, expectations are accurately set, managed, and key stakeholders receive adequate communications throughout the project lifecycle and this includes customer and Client stakeholders.
Drives all aspects of program management activity, including collaborating and coordinating across the organization.
Defines program value proposition, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for global programs.
Graduate or Master''s degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Strong capability in the nine PMI PMBOK knowledge areas to the extent necessary to effectively manage or support projects. Demonstrates Solid capability in the ten PMI PMBOK knowledge areas to the extent necessary to effectively manage or support projects. Demonstrates solid proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company''s project management information system (PMIS Solid ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans. Solid ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance. Solid capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and client in-order to monitor the progress of the project. Solid understanding of the links and dependencies between the projects and other in-flight projects and/or business initiatives. Manage revenue range or project budget range which may be $300,000 to $1.5M or project hours may be 1200 to 2500 hrs per month. Project timelines may be moderately aggressive with medium to high risk, well to moderately defined project scope, and typical duration of less than six months. Must be local to the BCBSRI customer and be-able to report there every day.
MUST HAVES MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON RESUME OR WILL BE REJECTED: - • 8-10 years of project management in applications development • 5 years in healthcare (payer is a definite plus)
PMP certified is a MUST
