Job Description :
Datastage Developer
Must Have:
High proficiency with IBM DataStage; strong preference for version 11.x.
Experience in writing high level designs and technical specifications based upon requirements and mapping documentation.
Extensive DataStage integration design and development experience spanning multiple platforms, applications, and technologies
DataStage Integration development experience with hierarchical data (xml, JSON), SAP (iDoc, ABAP), Web Services, and MQ strongly preferred
Experience with using DataStage to access multiple DBMS platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, UDB DB2, and DB2Z
Unix scripting knowledge/experience
Experience in performance monitoring, performance tuning and design for reuse
Experience in production support; how to design processes for ease of maintenance, re-startability, etc.
Experience in QA testing of ETL processes
Ability to understand a business problem and broker a resolution between business partners
Excellent communication and documentation, English-language skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with other IIS foundational tools such as Information Governance Catalog, Information Analyzer and Business Glossary
Experience developing solutions that integrate with SAP.
