Position: Sr SAP FINANCE Analyst
Location: Norwalk, CT Office
Rate: Open
Duration: 6 months


The Sr. Analyst - Integration will assist the integration team in the successful delivery of near-term focused value while creating a sustainable platform for long-term growth. To accomplish these objectives, the Sr. Analyst – Integration will be expected to provide sharp, proactive, timely insights and analyses which drive improved business decisions and – as a result – enhanced business outcomes.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Construct a functional cost baseline – quantify synergy opportunities & targets
o Oversee population & data integrity of cross-functional and cross-regional baselines
Build financial simulations of proposed initiatives to understand impact, quantify opportunities, and prioritize approach
Facilitate detailed implementation tracking and exception management process for planned initiatives
o Identify & quantify additional synergy opportunities
o Flag & escalate potential project hurdles or synergy erosions
o Populate detailed trackers for executive updates
Support the integration team for all data requests in order to create “one source of truth” for organization
Model a culture that improves the organization’s comfort with the speed of change, challenging assumptions, relentless pursuit of improvement – all with a high sense of personal accountability
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Larger focus on strategic sourcing (as opposed to tactical/operational support)
Development of robust analytic capabilities to ensure best-in-class sourcing
Aggregation and sharing of best practices across category teams
Ensuring transparency of category performance to increase discipline of strategic sourcing
Serving as a talent pipeline/ feeder for category teams – exposing members to variety of categories and product lines
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a rising leader with a proven track record of providing business decision support through the delivery of timely and meaningful insights and analysis. The successful candidate must have strategic capabilities as well as be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution.

Key Qualifications Needed:
Professional
o BA/BS degree in Finance/Engineering/Mathematics or related technical field
o 2-4 years of applicable experience (Sourcing experience preferred but not required)
o Previous experience with Consumer Products company preferred but not required
o International Experience preferred but not required
Technical
o Strategic thinker
o Analytical skills: Rock solid ability to analyze complex problems using data from multiple sources
o Extremely knowledge-able about data management/manipulation and tools such as Excel, Tableau, Powerpoint
o Advanced SAP experience preferable
o Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
o Ability to synthesize complex data topics into format that is share-able at a high level
