Qualifications:
2 - 5 years of work or equivalent experience administering and developing data systems, programming, or performing data analysis.
Knowledge of relevant programming languages - for example MSSQL, Python, Visual Basic, C, HTML, R Desired Meteorological (weather) background or experience developing/administering meteorological data systems or models Knowledge of NCL or GEMPAK
Works with a team to design, develop, and administer data acquisition, processing, and dissemination systems.
This involves developing and maintaining scripts, programs, models, algorithms, and processes, using data from disparate sources and sizes.
Works with internal client to customize data solutions specifically to project requirements and needs.
Interacts with technical and non-technical clients to resolve analysis and technical issues.
Works on technical application development, analytics/modeling, and visualization/user interface.
Provide on call support for production systems and provide timely solutions.
Day-to-day tasks to insure systems are up and running.
Perform system optimization tasks and analysis.
Respond to ad-hoc questions and requests.
Supports bug fixes, patches, minor enhancements, and disaster recovery exercises
