Job Description :
Note: Spanish speaking developers are given first preference.
Primary Requirements:
Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed.
Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.
Requires 6-8 years of applicable experience.
Required Skills:
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
Proficient understanding of Responsive web design, media queries, Susy and Twitter Bootstrap.
Proficient understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS or SASS.
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
Familiar with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Sketch or Photoshop is a plus.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN.
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Twitter Bootstrap or Susy framework is highly desirable.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience in enforcing code quality using coding standards defined.
Experience in Financial domain is a plus.
Bilingual English / Spanish (Open to non-Spanish speakers if they are exceptional candidates only)
