We are looking for QA Lead, please find below the job description
Location – Buffalo, NY
Employment type/contract duration - 12 months contract
Qualifications:
Lead experience
Banking/Financial/Commercial banking experience
Onsite/Offshore coordination
The QA lead will have 70% of Onsite/offshore lead duties and 30% of hands on test execution
Web Testing
Risk based testing
Browser testing
Create test plan/strategy
Mobile testing experience
Test automation experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of formal Quality Assurance experience with a minimum of 5+ years of formal Leadership/Management experience
Experience working with onsite/offshore team
Experience in automation and performance testing
Experience in Website testing, CRM testing, Web Services Testing
Experience in JIRA, Zephyr, Selenium, JMeter
Knowledge of backend testing using SQL
Knowledge of ERP & CRM applications like SAP /JDE/Salesforce/Oracle On Demand
Extensive experience in implementing QA standards, procedures and controls.
Diverse experience in IT and technical background preferred
Experience/Knowledge of Testing Center of Excellence
Experience in QA Metrics (DRE, DAR, OTD, etc and Executive Dashboards
Requirements:
· Prepares and Implements the QA strategy for the program/project
· Identifies QA resources needed for the program/project
· Provides QA work estimates and QA-specific resource requirements
· Provides guidance and best practices for testing
· Provides testing resources with training and mentoring on the testing processes, test standards
· Experience in testing tools - Quality Center, JIRA, Zephyr, Selenium Web Driver, Selenium Grid, JMeter, Load Runner
· Collaborates with experienced Performance Test Engineers for performance testing consulting and support
· Collaborates with experienced Automated Testing Engineers for test automation consulting, scripting, and support
· Sets up projects in JIRA - Zephyr, Quality Center and ensures that the standard workflows are implemented in the project
· Analyzes test data requirements and collaborates with Test Data Support team to create test data when needed
· Reviews requirements for testability, ambiguity, or redundancy
· Ensures traceability matrices are available
· Communicates the progress and status of testing
· Identifies testing risks and provides a risk mitigation plan to minimize, if not totally eliminate, the risks
· Determines a risk-based test strategy and seeks approval of its implementation
· Coordinates the testing efforts for projects that involve multiple applications or portfolios
· Coordinates and facilitates the defect triage meetings
· Provides the testing metrics and dashboard
