Currently we are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer / Analyst in Beaverton, OR.

Position Details:

Data Warehouse Engineer / Analyst

Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 6 months

Project Details:
Comprehensive analysis and re-build of current data warehouse environment that includes the following:
Analysis of all data sources.
Create technical documentation of data sources and data sets.
Create data model of staging environment which includes assessment of current data model.
Create ETL using SSIS packages to pull data into staging.
Analysis of business by interviewing key business owners and stakeholders, understanding key performance indicators and future reporting/analysis needs.
Create relational model for new data warehouse architecture.

Key Experiences/Achievements:
A Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a technical/data analyst role in a data driven environment.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience required for T-SQL Querying and Programming and Administration (Ideally with Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ETL development and Microsoft SSIS and SSRS.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in business analyst and requirement gathering.
Experience in application development utilizing a relational database and ability to work with large datasets.
Ability to synthesize technical requirements or processes into layman''s terms.
Has successfully managed project/product implementation through partnerships with cross-functional teams, both internal and external.

Technical/Functional Requirements for the position include:
Strong experience in SQL – Able to query complex datasets and derive conclusions, including: Using all types of joins between multiple tables; Optimizing queries to aggregate large datasets (millions of rows
Strong technical documentation skills and ability to take generic business rules and convert into technical requirements.
Ability to import/ export data to and from a variety of different data sources.
Identify automation opportunities within current analytics processes and work closely with IT to implement the solution.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to engage the right groups for the work.
Ability to integrate Full Data sets into various Database Architecture and model data and design database architecture.
Strong experience in Dimensional Modeling (star schema
Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
Experience with ERwin modeling tool a plus.
Call center and ACD/Phone switch (e.g. Avaya or Genesys) is a plus.

Organized and able to work and collaborate effectively with a team
Successful management of cross-functional teams throughout phases of project/product implementation
Willingness to establish and maintain a variety of business relationships with internal stakeholders as well as third-party vendors
