Seeking a highly motivated candidate for all things Business Intelligence and Data/Analytics related. The role will be the primary contact for technical administration of our SAP Business Objects BI, SAP Data Services, Qlikview, Dell Boomi, and Hadoop environments. This will include but is not limited to installations, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and production support/daily operations. This is a cross-functional support role to the organization and will interface with several groups in the IT department. Effective communication and technical leadership is critical to the success of this role.
Essential Functions
?Must have expert Qlikview administration experience including installation, configuration, report promotion, performance tuning, licensing, proactive monitoring, and troubleshooting ability
?Must have expert Business Objects BI and Data Services 4.1+ administration including installation, configuration, promotion management, connection architecture, universe setups/modifications, performance tuning, reporting and monitoring. This should include security setup in CMS and Windows AD SSO. Upgrade experience to 4.2 preferred
?Proficient Cloudera Hadoop administration experience including installation, tuning, scaling, component activation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
?Aptitude for understanding data and how data from multiple sources interact for consumption of the end users
?Aid in the design and execution of integration of different data sources in across platforms, in partnership with the functional data/application teams
?Responsible for staying current with technology and implementing best practices
?Experience working within an Agile development environment
?Work with other application teams to resolve related issues
?Partners with Infrastructure/Apps teams on OS, storage, network, upgrade, platform, etc. tasks
?Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization
?Demonstrates a high level of communication skills, verbal and written
?Available for on call rotational support for 3rd level support escalations
Education and Experience
?Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline
?5+ years of experience with SAP BI/BOBJ and Data Services
?3+ years of experience with Qlikview
?1+ years of experience with Hadoop
?3+ years of database platform experience in the following: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL
?5+ years of Linux and Windows platform expertise
?Light programming and scripting experience a plus
?Dell Boomi experience a plus
?Strong analytical skill s and process orientation with significant attention to detail
?Effective interpersonal skills with ability to participate in and lead virtual teams
?Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing, business intelligence, and ERP systems
