Windows Java Software Engineer
Location: Middleton, WI (Madison, WI Area)
Duration: 4 Months
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering or equivalent (5+ years) experience-based knowledge.
Experience Requirements (in commercial product development):
Java Swing application development, 2 years
Windows Embedded OS implementation, preferably across several versions
Software development, 5 years
Other requirements:
Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Able to write OS, application, and test documentation
Able to participate in GUI testing on large electrical systems
Travel: none expected
Duties:
Port GUI and updated Windows Embedded OS to new hardware platform
Implement updated Windows Embedded OS on new hardware platform
Implement minor feature enhancements
Desirable Qualifications
Excellent Java skills, both development and debugging
Full-stack web application development experience
Good communication skills
Basic electricity and electronics knowledge
