Will be responsible for standing up VMs and enabling flow of data throughout the platform. Skill set includes:
Fundamentally strong in big data concepts
3-5 years in JAVA with application deployment and Ant/Maven build tools
Expert in hive/pig/impala scripts
Expert in Linux shell scripting
Should have written Pig UDFs and Hive UDFs
Knowledge of NoSQL technology
Working knowledge in shell scripts
Knowledge in Hadoop ecosystem like Oozie, ZooKeeper, HDFS, YARN, Flume, Sqoop, MapReduce
Working knowledge in ETL tools like Pentaho, talend etc.
Good understanding of RDBMS and its implementation
Working knowledge of source code version control tools like GitHub and SVN
