Title: SAS Admin
Location: Irvine CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Client: Wells Fargo
Manager: Alec Effrat
Rate: $50/hr includinmg referral

General Duties/responsibilities:
1. Manage, Support and lead all aspects of SAS installation including but not limited to:
a) Installation, testing, maintenance and support of all SAS components
b) Consulting with users to make code efficiency improvement suggestions
c) Unix (IBM AIX) and desktop support for all SAS components
d) Daily support for SAS Analytics groups within the line of business
e) Daily administration duties including coordinating backups and trouble shooting all aspects of the SAS environment
2. In-depth knowledge of all SAS components including but not limited to Base SAS, SAS EG, SAS E-Miner, SAS Connect, PC SAS, SAS GRID, SAS DI and SAS BI
3. Manage LSF scheduling in SAS
4. Experience in security and workspace administration in SAS Management Console
5. Manage all folder structures in the UNIX environment for SAS
6. Creation and maintenance of system documentation related to the SAS environment
7. Working with the SAS users to identify improvement opportunities in the SAS environment related to data management and processing efficiency
8. Working on a daily basis with end users to ensure full understanding of their SAS requirements and that those requirements are met
9. Act as a point of contact with SAS Institute to ensure a good working relationship with the vendor
10. Responsible for Monitoring, reporting, and controlling SAS server usage
11. Subject matter expert for all SAS related technical issues and best practices.
