Data Mining/ Statistical Analysis
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 6+ months
Job Description:
·The person should be strong in Data Mining – not an order taker but question the source of data, look for best ways to get meaningful data and derive business metric out of it
o For example, the person should be able to analyze Application performance logs, monitoring tools –apply statistical pattern and should be able to say that if application response time is improved by 0.1%, order conversion percentage will go up by X or Y%
·Should be strong in statistical analysis and relevant tools – R, Splunk and other tools. Working experience on the tool alone is not a criterion for selection – he/she should be passionate about data
·Should be a Masters or PhD – minimum 9 years of experience
