Job Description :
Oracle Application database administrator will provide operational support for Oracle Applications and EBS boundary application systems in production and non production environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide operational support for the organizations Global Oracle E-Business Suite ERP applications including production support and project support.
Work with the onshore team to manage regularly scheduled clones of ERP, other supporting environments.
Provide production support for Oracle Applications 11i and development instances and day-to-day operations: AD utilities, Concurrent Managers and Processes, setting up and diagnosing printing issues, stopping and starting of application and configuration, Oracle workflows, forms server, apache etc.
Perform database and ERP tech stack upgrades and evaluating/testing/applying appropriate quarterly cumulative patch updates (CPU
Managing a 7x24 Production support environment, on-call support, including coordinating and managing maintenance activities.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, recovery, tuning of the database, software installation, resolving Oracle errors and failures, auditing activities, and resource utilization.
Also responsible for service level availability for all production and non-production Oracle environments.
Responsible for managing and providing support for periodical external and internal audit activities.
Work in day shifts during week days and weekends, and open to night shifts when required.

Skills & Experience Required:
4 to 6 years of experience with Oracle database administration activities.
4to 6 years of experience working with Oracle Applications 11i database and application administration.
Extensive knowledge of underlying Oracle Applications database architectures and concepts.
Experience in installing, configuration and administration of Oracle SOA environments.
Extensive knowledge and experience in RMAN, Oracle Single-Sign-On, OID and Shared Appltop.
Installation, configuration and administration of Oracle Grid Control (OEM) 11g or 12c.
Knowledge of cloning Operations for Oracle Apps EBS including pre/post and rapid clone and other advanced options.
Experience with patching operations for Oracle Apps including analysis of patches, patching including maintenance packs, post patch testing and validations, similar experience in supporting is essential.
Experience with performance tuning of both Application Tier and Database Tier, process and query optimization, troubleshooting of locking issues, monitoring of resource contention, analysis of queries, log files, trace files etc will be highly valued.
Experience managing a 7x24 Production support environment, and on-call support, including coordinating and messaging required for maintenance windows.
Experience in applying HR patches.
Experience in configuring and maintaining physical and logical standby environments.
Experience in performing Disaster Recovery Drills.
Good exposure to managing and coordinating activities with Infrastructure team.
Proficient in change management process and utilization of incident/issue management tools, code promotion.
High proficiency working with Linux/AIX operating systems, shell scripting, and cron job.

Skills with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions with different technical as well as functional groups.
Prior support experience in a worldwide user based environment is must.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt to ever changing environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with MarkView and Sabrix applications.
Oracle 10g/11g certification.
Exposure to Service Now ticketing system.
