Detailed JD:
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience with quality assurance testing and practice delivery to an enterprise wide audience to improvement data accuracy and risk management.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Informatica DVO, Teradata and other database technologies preferred.
Experience with end-to-end QA testing efforts associated with project work required.
Must have understanding of common software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
Must have demonstrated experience working with automated testing, performance, load and stress testing and other types of testing as it relates to data.
Ability to develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation and scripts.
1. Create test cases and stories consisting of all required testing steps needed to conduct data validation.
2. Develop validation/regression test scripts needed to perform quality assurance testing of stories and automation.
3. Execute all data validation using tools and scripts, documenting and communication all test results.
4. Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
5. Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
6. Engineer test data from multiple sources to verify and validate test conditions.
7. Report and document defects found during testing and work across functional teams to resolve defects.
