JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
The Office of the State Superintendent of Education’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer is seeking a .Net SME for web based application projects. The position is for someone with experience in Front-End and Application design and development. The position will be responsible for all Technical Design Documentation and artifacts involved in the project, designing the Application Architecture of the system, co-designing and developing services for interfacing with the data layer, and developing dashboards and reports and reports customized to specific groups, roles, and users of the target system.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
2. Plans, organizes, and conducts research in a variety of areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law or business in support of an IT initiative.
3. Searches sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information. May use Internet, Intranet, magazines, periodicals, journals, and other media to perform research.
4. Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.

- 16+ yrs. as SME in complex enterprise level projects. Required.
- Master’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Required
- Experience aligning IT strategy and planning with company''s business goals. Required. 10 Years.
- Strong experience with SQL 2005 and above. Required. 5 years.
- Experience shipping highly scalable architecture solution that supports mobile and web. Required. 5 Years.
- Experienced in web technologies with mobile app design experience. Required. 5 Years.
- Experience of SQL, SQLDB design and development including Stored Procedures and SSIS, SSRS. Required 5 Years.
- Experience with emerging DaaS (Database as a Service Required. 2 Years.
- Strong Software development experience. Required. 7 Years

- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# , JavaScript, AJAX and MVC. Required. 7 Years.
