Additional Info for PeopleSoft position:
The primary focus will be to support Oracle PeopleSoft HCM but may include support for other database and web applications infrastructure maintained by the HUIT DBA team. The HUIT DBA team supports multiple environments ranging from ERP systems like Oracle EBusiness Suite and PeopleSoft to standalone web environments utilizing Apache and Weblogic. Core database platforms supported include Oracle, SQLServer and MySQL.
PeopleSoft responsibilities will focus on maintaining and supporting HUIT’s 9.1 HCM environment including PeopleTools 8.54. Duties will include installation, configuration, patching, cloning/refreshing, troubleshooting, performing release migrations, PUM updates, tax updates, and general application and database support. Responsibilities will also include attending customer and technical team meetings, working with release management staff to coordinate releases and deployments, and interfacing with other support teams within HUIT. This position will also afford the opportunity to work on HUIT’s PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade project which includes upgrading PeopleTools to 8.55 as well as migrating infrastructure to Amazon Web Services.
