Role : Teradata QueryGrid Lead

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Define and execute the project on Teradata QueryGrid.
Exploration of QueryGrid fabricated model and how it fit as Data virtualization feature in Boeing context.
Setup required environment for QueryGrid and configuration.
Analyze and identify potential use cases where to use QueryGrid and where to useBoeing’ Enterprise DV (Denodo) data services and come with solution to integrate QueryGrid with Boeing’s Enterprise DV layer.
Configure, Manage and trouble shooting of disparate data sources configured in DV layer. Data sources such as RDBMS systems, webservices, File system, Bigdata systems – Hive and spark, and noSQL databases.
Assessing optimization technique such as Pushdown processing to minimize data movements and leverage unique processing capability of fabric of platform such are operator, function delegations.
Assessing capability to publish views as table, REST/SOAP Web services, widgets, etc.Requirements:
Experience with Teradata QueryGrid, Teradata database, Hadoop, and Denodo data virtualization.
Experience of data integration, data modelling and data warehouse implementation.
Knowledge in assessing, monitoring and administrating all aspects of the Teradata QueryGrid or Denodo DV environment relating to optimization and performance.
Experience in writing complex SQL in relational databases especially Teradata & Oracle
Expertise and experience in one of the any RDBMS system.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong listening skills
Experience in working on large Data Warehousing environments.
Experience in performance tuning.
