Position:- Pega Architect
Duration:- 6-months
Location:- Reston, VA
As a System Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a project''s technical architecture. A System Architect defines the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation. You will need to have knowledge of all the different aspects of the technical solution as well as robust business knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert to assist in developing the architecture, support and services for specific IT applications
Strong Pega Framework (PRPC) and Applications (HCIF/PCS) experience.
Lead technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed
Responsible for implementing technical solutions on Pega 7.X, and Pega Healthcare Insurance Industry Framework
Hands on experience building rules, data objects, integrations, and activities
Analyze, design and/or develop best practice business changes through technology solutions
Identify key performance alerts provided by the system and understand how to resolve the underlying issue
Hands on experience in implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, etc.
Requirements:
Must be a Pega certified CSA with good knowledge of Java frameworks
Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation
Experience in business process modeling or workflow
Has expert knowledge of the Pega Architecture, including security model, and service interfaces
Extensive Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WS
Ability to collaborate with a team of senior developers and architects
Proven experience in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process based applications
Preferred Skills:
Experience in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, DB2 or Sybase is a plus.
Experience in Agile Scrum methodology
