Have in-depth knowledge of design patterns and proven experience with relevant technologies.
Be comfortable with both Linux and Windows operating systems
Must have Python, Hadoop, Hive, Pig etc
Must have working experience and be able to differentiate between relational/non-relational database systems
Experience with Object Oriented Design, and distributed programming is a plus
Experience with cloud computing, service oriented architectures and high scale distributed applications is a plus.
