Java Application Architect

Duration: 6+ months
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
1. 3+ years of experience in any of the following languages or technologies: Java, Scala, Groovy, Ruby, PHP, Python, JavaScript
2. 2+ years of application design and development experience in one or more of the following areas:
3. Responsive Design / HTML5 with experience in one of the following technologies – Backbone.js, AngularJS, Ember.js, Bootstrap
4. JVM-based languages and frameworks with experience in one of the following technologies – Grails, Play Framework
5. Functional Languages with experience in one of the following technologies – Scheme, Lisp, Haskell, Clojure, Scala, Erlang
6. Rapid development Web framework – Ruby on Rails, Django, Symfony, Laravel, Node.js (Express, Koa, etc
7. 1+ years of experience with API development
8. Capable of setting up a scaffold API for testing purposes
9. 1+ years of experience with Play framework or equivalent
10. Experience with REST APIs
11. 1+ years of experience with testing using TDD or BDD, using ScalaTest and/or Specs2
12. Experience in Reactive Programming, and an understanding of Reactive Principles
13. Experience with NoSQL Databases such as Cassandra
14. Experience with implementing execution architecture services (caching, logging, etc)
15. Experienced with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins, BuildBot, etc)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
1. Understanding of healthcare and public service domain.
2. Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
