SAN Admin with Linux & Solaris(Delivery Specialist)

SCOPE: Implementation/ Delivery specialist:
Technical tasks
Experience working in 24x7 complex, highly-secure, highly-available, datacenter environments operating within the realms of strict Change Management processes.
Candidates must be client focused, able to work independently while interacting across different teams to accomplish projects.
Experience with supporting Open Systems, Enterprise SAN and NAS solutions
Experience with UNIX (Linux, AIX, Solaris), VMware or other hypervisors, and Windows operating environments
Experience with storage configuration, volume management and path management software tools (LVM, Native MPIO, EMC PowerPath
Experience with disaster recovery as it relates to storage systems and data recovery techniques, including disk replication, snapshots and disaster recovery best practices
Intermediate analysis and troubleshooting skills for the end-to-end storage and backup stack (VMs, hosts, SAN switches, Storage devices)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong inter-personal skills
Able to multi-task.
Assist in change management processes
Vendor contact for routine, documented incidents as well as operational problems
Resolve incidents and problems in accordance within defined guidelines and meet operational level agreements
Implement change requests and meet project deliverables within defined guidelines

Oracle (Sun) Solaris OS – Administration and Tuning
AIX OS – Administration and Tuning
Administration of Veritas Storage Foundation:
Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM)
Veritas File System (VxFS)
Dynamic Multipathing (DMP)
EMC Software Administration:
Symmetrix command line interface (SymmCli)
Symmetrix Remote Data Facility (SRDF)
TCP/IP protocol suite / network environment
LDAP, DNS, and NFS.
Experience with Oracle RAC environment
Plus:
NetApp knowledge
Shell,Perl/other programming/scripting language
Ability to provision SAN storage to servers
