Location: Washington, DC
Interview Mode: 1st Telephonic, 2nd In Person
Tasks:
Lead and provide technical direction and expertise to a project team.
Provide daily technical support for the renovation of the existing environments.
Analyze and recommend improvements to support Environment Management and Configuration Management process initiatives.
Provide Production Environment and Infrastructure support for the Project.
Support FTE SME’s in maintaining current (Test/Production) environments and infrastructure.
Create all necessary documents and communicate to the team in support of the project.
Provide pre-and post-implementation support for Test and Production environments.
Conduct training and knowledge transfer on new environments with FTEs.

Specific Required Skills:
Infrastructure engineer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with:
Experience building robust test environments
Environment Infrastructure Build and Automation
Scripting and Automation experience
Build and Deployment experience
Extensive DB2 Database experience
Extensive SDLC experience
Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/Mainframe infrastructure issues.
Mid-tier/mainframe platforms and their associated Operation Systems and Tools including.
Must Have Skills:
WebSphere
MQ Series
Java/J2EE
Pega
Experience Level includes:
Good Experience in WebSphere Application Server 8/8.5 and IBM HTTP Server that includes:
Setup and configure clusters, application servers
Troubleshoot performance issues
Analyze thread/heap dumps
Deploy Applications
Good experience in AIX/Linux
Good knowledge of infrastructure, networking, firewall
Good Knowledge and experience in Pega PRPC v6.x/7.x
Server installations
Performance tuning
Deployments
App server administration
Scripting
Certified/Trained in Pega Administration
Good Knowledge of different Pega frameworks, tools, and dependencies
Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills
DB2 UDB
Strong UNIX/Shell scripting
Python scripting
Experience Level includes:
Good knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting Enterprise applications for performance using Wily Introscope and other tools
Solid understanding and experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture and architectural frameworks
