Role Job description:
The Oracle DBA role will be expected to provide hands on subject matter expert experience in various Oracle technologies. The role will perform related administration functions across one or more teams or clients, including
designing highly available configurations, implementing and maintaining application servers, databases, disaster recovery setup, backup/recovery and configuration management. The DBA will provide input for modification of
procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Exposure to Oracle Engineered systems is required for this role.
This role will have the following main responsibilities:
Installation, cloning and maintenance of following Oracle products in HA configuration:
1. Oracle EBS suite (11i, r12)
2. Oracle SOA suite (11g)
3. Oracle DISCOVERER (11g)
4. Oracle OAM/SSO (11g)
5. Oracle RAC (11g)
- installation of other related Oracle products
- Create installation and configuration documentation for delivery
Required Skills:
*3 years of experience in Oracle DBA implementation
*1 year of experience in Oracle Application Implementation
*1 year experience in DB security architecture
*1 year experience writing and reviewing security design documentation
*Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
*Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
